NBA Daily Update

With most of the teams almost finished with their off-season trades and signings there are still a few moves happening within the NBA. The Portland Trailblazers recently signed Boston Celtics back-up point guard Phil Pressey and undrafted forward Cliff Alexander from Kansas.Portland isn’t the only team still making moves. The Philadelphia 76ers officially signed former Florida Gator guard Scottie Wilbekin. Sharpshooting Scottie has been a favorite for all fans of the Gators basketball program. He shooting impressed coaches during the NBA summer league.Despite talks from all over the league saying that the Washington Wizards should trade veteran big man Nenê the head office of the Wizards told sources his job is safe. He is entering the final year of his contract which will earn him 13 million dollars. The Dallas Mavericks have come to an agreement with veteran center Samuel Dalembert for one year. In the aftermath of the Denver Nuggets blockbuster trade involving their starting point guard skeptics have raised questions about the workload that first round pick Emmanuel Mudiay will have to handle.  While being a intensely scouted prospect Mudiay has proven that he belongs in the NBA, but can he fill the hole left by Ty Lawson? The Miami Heat chose to unload cap space, about 4.5 million dollars worth, by trading former National Champion Shabazz Napier to the Orlando Magic for a protected 2nd round pick. With guards such as Goran Dragic and Mario Chalmers the movement of Napier was a great move for franchise. The NBA is still active even in the off-season so stay tuned for more updates.
